Business Development Apprentice
Bluecadet is thrilled to offer a paid Business Development Apprenticeship—an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team at a leading experience design agency.
This six-month, remote-based apprenticeship, beginning in Summer 2025, is ideal for recent graduates ready to enter the world of business development and strategy in the creative industry.
As a Bluecadet apprentice, you’ll work alongside a close-knit team of strategists, producers, and creatives, supporting new business efforts that span mission-driven organizations such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Nike, MoMA, the MIT Museum, and Princeton.
You’ll be mentored by seasoned professionals and contribute meaningfully to the studio's growth. You'll help shape proposals, track leads, and support the relationships that bring transformative digital and physical experiences to life.

Core Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker and persuasive communicator
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Google Suite, and Notion (or eager to learn)
- Experience in sales, marketing, or business development (internship or full-time)
- Passion for the arts, culture, and design
- Good visual sensibility and appreciation for beautifully designed materials
- Self-starter who is excited to implement and improve processes

Primary Responsibilities:
- Track and manage new business leads and inbound business development requests
- Maintain up-to-date reporting on proposal status and lead conversion
- Review RFPs and new leads, creating internal documentation to support team discussions
- Support proposal creation from start to finish using established templates
- Coordinate internal and external meetings and contribute strategic insights with internal teams
- Research and pursue an independent business development project
- Support internal team operations and collaborate across departments as needed

Education and Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience: Working toward Bachelor’s Degree or industry experience
- Years of professional experience: 0–2 years (including internships)
- Specialized training in: Sales, marketing, communications, business development, or similar fields (a plus)
