The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation

The Henry Ford Museum sought to give guests insight into the mind of a curator. Bluecadet created the AI Connections Table, an interactive tool that blends curator insights with AI, to reveal connections between objects in the museum's digital collection, turning database searches into a playful experience. We worked with curators to identify over 2,000 connections across 80+ topics. AI found new links, combining curator-led and AI insights into an explorable web of objects. The result focuses on connections and concepts, making the experience engaging and fun.

A Visitor steps into a circle of projected light and a large sculpture resembling an audio cone reacts and illuminates in front of them. A visitor types into an interactive and makes a poem with an AI agent; a long curving digital screen extends up over and above them that shows pieces of paper with other visitor-created poems on them floating upwards.
