Museum of Art and Design

Bluecadet partnered with the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) for the 60th annual Mad Ball gala, creating a signature interactive digital experience inspired by the MAD mission: an innovative and unexpected celebration of design and the creative process. We designed a Pong-based game using capacitive fruit as controllers, and even composted two dozen fruits and peeled one, for authenticity, during the event.

  • Two people stand in a dimly lit gallery, observing vibrant digital artworks displayed on large screens. The room has a modern and immersive atmosphere.

Video description: Visitors in the gallery interact with a set of four large digital screens flanking an even larger projection of artwork. A visitor uses their fingers to zoom in onto a painting by Paul Gauguin that is featured on one of the screens.

  • Five people are gathered around a large interactive touchtable displaying data and colorful nodes.

Video description: Two visitors interact with a large touch surface by drawing lines that cause text and image panels to appear. Once open, they explore them to see AI-generated connections between objects in the museum's collection.
