About the Murals

The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has created more than 3,000 murals, many of which represent important aspects of Philadelphia’s African American history, traditions and culture. The Albert M. Greenfield African American Iconic Images Collection, curated in partnership with the African American Museum in Philadelphia, showcases murals throughout the city that uniquely capture the rich African American experience in Philadelphia.
