We're heading to Canada, eh!
The Bluecadet team is heading across the border to our Northern Neighbor this weekend. Josh will be in Toronto at Hot Docs, the world’s largest documentary Film Festival (check it out on Twitter @HotDocs). He’s going for docXchange, an interactive documentary film-financing workshop.
We’re excited because it’s a fantastic opportunity to talk shop with filmmakers and story tellers working in the medium of film. Josh is heading to Hot Docs specifically to represent his brother Jim Goldblum’s film “Tomorrow We Disappear”. Josh Cogan (the fabulous photog who collaborated with us on Live Hope Love) also leant a hand on the doc.
Elsewhere in Toronto, developers Jason Grandelli and Stacey Wiley will be at Flash in the Can, an inspiring Flash and digital creation consortium, on Twitter @FITC. Stacy will be also be attending Flash guru Andre Michelle's workshop on sound. We can't say exactly why she’s so interested, but leave it at Ben Franklin’s creation of the glass armonica, and check back with us later.
Jason, aside from attending conferences, will be headed to an open framework session (#openframeworks) which has extremely useful applications for both mobile development and multi-touch multi-screen exhibits.
All three Cadets have been equipped with generous per diems, so if you’re also heading North, look us up and we’ll buy you a drink.
