Bluecadet Interactive

This was an exciting year at the American Association of Museums annual conference in Minneapolis. Bluecadet projects received four MUSE awards, hosted a session on creating interactive exhibits, and attended a party at the Minnesota History Center that included an elderly nun giving free massages.

Bluecadet is excited to have received 3 nominations and 10 honorable mentions in the 16th Annual Webby Awards.

Our SXSW panel takes on Requests for Proposals, and brings them down to size. We're teaming up with Happy Cog, Weblinc, and Four Kitchens to improve the RFP process.

Theresa Decker brings considerable design chops to the Bluecadet team. She's an award-winning web and print designer who's well versed in branding/identity, packaging, and illustration. We're teaming up with the Nation Constitution Center! We'll be building their new online presence in the upcoming months, so we all took a trip to their headquarters on Independence Mall to learn a bit more about our nation, its history, and the exhibitions themselves. Steve Hurwitz has an in-depth knowledge of Drupal and PHP, and joins the Bluecadet team as our senior web developer. He’s worked with Actionscript3, Drupal, PHP and more at Red Tettemer, TMX Interactive, and Paragraph Inc. He’s the head of our in-house Drupal development, so here’s a chance to see some of his great work on previous Drupal projects.
